Pat Mccormick
Pat began his guiding career in 2006 on the Wild Rivers of Idaho while pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering. Since then, he has worked as a Ski Guide, Patroller, Avalanche Educator, and Forecaster in several unique mountain ranges, including the Cascades, Chugach, Talkeetna, Alaska, Andes, and seven other distinct mountain ranges in Idaho.
He now splits his time between human-powered and mechanized ski guiding in Idaho and Alaska, and loves nothing more than discovering and opening new terrain.
Pat and his girlfriend Suzanne live and play in Hailey, ID, with their dogs Ruby & Osa. In the off-season, Pat runs a custom home-building company and coaches the local high school mountain bike team. Although he enjoys the summer and loves any time spent on water, Pat spends most of his time pursuing the perfect powder turn.
Pat is a Professional Member of the AAA, a Pro II Avalanche graduate, National Avalanche School graduate, a Rope Access and High Angle Rescue Technician, Swiftwater Rescue Technician, Licensed EMT, and an IOGLB Level II Ski Guide.
