Max Tardy

Max has been skiing and fly fishing throughout the Idaho backcountry since moving to Sun Valley in 2016. Originally from northern Minnesota, he feels at ease in our wintery wonderland.

He began his guiding career casting intricate flies to spooky trout on our scenic rivers. His love for sharing adventures in Idaho's pristine wilderness has since become a year-round endeavor.

Max is an IOGLB Level 1 Apprentice Ski Guide, an IOGLB Fly Fishing Guide, and a NOLS Wilderness First Responder. He is also an American Avalanche Association Affiliate Member and is continuing his education to become an AMGA Ski Guide.
