Doug Bernard

Doug is an AMGA Certified Ski Guide, AMGA Apprentice Alpine Guide, climber, adventurer, avalanche educator, and professional member of the American Avalanche Association. A military veteran, Doug’s lifelong love for adventuring and building friendships in the mountains began at a young age in his hometown of Ketchum, Idaho.

Working toward his AMGA guide certification alongside friends and mentors in the mountains of Idaho, Washington, and Colorado has allowed Doug to turn his passion for teaching and sharing mountain experiences into a profession. Throughout his life, the mountains have played an integral role in providing meaningful experiences and fostering friendships as he pursued challenge, mastery, enthusiasm, and connection.

Doug’s personal and professional pursuits have afforded him the opportunity to ski and climb on five continents. In his spare time, you can find him seeking out adventure and connection in the mountains with friends.
