What you need:
Hiking Specific Trips:
● 1-2 liters of water (hydration bladders work well)
● Warm layer such as fleece jacket, sweater, soft shell jacket
● Rain jacket (such as the North Face Dryzzle Futurelight Jacket)
● Lightweight pants (no cotton such as Jeans or Sweatpants)
● Shorts - optional (if weather is forecast to be warm)
● T-shirt is acceptable in warmer weather, but sun hoodie (such as the North Face Wander Hoodie) is recommended
● Insulated jacket (puffy coat, such as the North Face Thermoball Eco Hoodie)
● Lightweight gloves
● Beanie or lightweight wool hat
● Sneakers or light duty hiking boots (no sandals/flip flops)
● Sun glasses, sunscreen, lip balm, and a hat
● Day pack that is big enough to carry all the above items
● Sleeping bag (rated to at least 40℉)
● Camping style pillow (not recommended - puffy jackets in a stuff sac work well!)
● Toiletry kit (toothbrush, toothpaste, feminmine hygiene products, etc.)
● Booties (the North Face Traction Booties) or comfy shoes for around the yurt
● Charging cords
Mountain/E Bike Specific Trips:
● Good working trail bike or E-Bike
● Biking helmet (CPSC rated)
● Biking gloves (recommended)
● Knee and elbow pads (recommended)
● Lunch, energetic snacks
● 1-2 liters of water (hydration packs are great for biking)
● Warm layer such as fleece jacket, sweater, other warm layer (regardless of hot weather)
● Rain jacket (such as the North Face Dryzzle Futurelight Jacket)
● Lightweight pants or shorts (if weather is forecast to be warm), no cotton such as Jeans or Sweatpants
● Padded mountain bike specific liners or shorts (highly recommended)
● Mountain bike jersey or T-shirt is acceptable in warmer weather, but sun hoodie (such as the North Face Wander Hoodie) is recommended
● Sneakers or clipless shoes (depending on pedal configuration)
● Sun glasses, sunscreen, lip balm, and a hat
